Online Wholesale Market: One order • One invoice • One delivery

Wholesale and bulk buyers across the Champlain Valley can now source unique local products from diverse farmers and food producers using the Online Market.

The Online Market is open to buyers of all kinds including: restaurants, retailers, groceries, caterers, schools and colleges, farm stands, and community members.

Why an online wholesale market?

This market makes it easy for wholesale buyers to purchase food from multiple local producers, rather than purchasing from wholesale distributors that truck in food from further afield, as well as receiving only one invoice despite ordering from various producers.

Vision

The vision of the ACORN Food Hub is to increase access to nutritious, local food by making it easier for wholesale buyers (restaurants, retail stores, colleges, universities, grocery stores, local schools, hospitals, and farmstands) to source and provide local products to the community.  The Food Hub will help increase access to markets for local food producers, which will in turn promote farm viability and contribute to a vibrant local economy.

Our guiding principles are: Community Focused - Convenient - High Quality

The ACORN Food Hub is located at 616 Exchange Street, Middlebury, Warehouse #5.

“This ACORN thing is something I've been dreaming about," Wheeler said. "It's all in one place. I can look at the list and plan our menu based on what's available." Plus, she added, "Payment happens automatically. It's better than any food distributor we work with." - Erin Wheeler, Bobcat Cafe and Brewery (Read the whole article here.)
