This farm panel will discuss water quality, land conservation and farm viability with local producers and will include conventional operators, grass-fed dairy and organic/regenerative farmers to speak with the community about their operation and vision for the future of farming in Addison County.
This is a chance for the public to have a face-to-face meeting about some of the questions that have been coming up on social media sites like Front Porch Forum. Farmers will discuss, first-hand, some of the challenges their farms are facing and the strategies they are using to overcome them.
In 2017, there were over 7,000 farms that contributed to the health and vitality of Vermont, here’s a chance to hear some of their stories and ask questions.
The event is free, open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided
